SSNAP Associate Clinical Directors, Louise Clark and Rebecca Fisher covered the key findings of the SSNAP’s Post-acute Organisational Audit 2021 National Report describes the organisation of post-acute stroke services as on 1 April 2021. The audit collected information from 600+ providers on the structure and organisation of services, including access to timely multidisciplinary care, 7 day working and it enable providers to benchmark the quality of the component elements of their service organisation nationally and regionally. |

A Year Like No Other: SSNAP’s eighth annual report publishes findings on stroke care for patients admitted and/or discharged between April 2020 and March 2021. The report focusses on the first and second waves of the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of the pandemic on a number of key domains of the stroke pathway, from stroke admissions and case mix, to the pre-hospital pathway, inpatient rehabilitation and access to community services.
